2019 Annual Meeting

Where: Cortland Jr. Sr. High School, LGI Room
Who: All coaches, parents, umpires and friends of the league are welcome to attend

2019 Season Review
During the annual meeting of Crown City Little League, those in attendance will discuss issues related to the 2019 season as well as ways to improve the league for the upcoming season. If you have anything you’d like to share (positive or negative), this open forum will be your opportunity to do so.

2020 Board of Directors Election
We also will elect a board of directors to serve the league for the 2020 season. There are currently two board members who will not be seeking re-election. Anyone interested in running for a board seat is asked to email presidet. Individuals running for a seat will be given the opportunity to speak. Elected board members will assemble for a brief meeting immediately following the Annual Meeting.

Please note that this meeting is open to anyone but only those who have paid the $5 membership fee may participate in voting. Also note that all coaches are required by local rules to be a league member.

12u Gold All-Stars Win District 8 Championship; 10u Win King of the Hill

Congratulations to the players and coaches of the Crown City LL 12u Gold All-stars for taking home the crown during the annual District 8 All-sta tournament. Another huge congrats to the 10u team for winning the 2019 KOH 10u division crown.

Cubs Take Minors Title; Mets Wear Majors Crown

The minor division Cubs took home the title on an extra innings sac by Mark Ecker; while the major Mets won by a strong pitching perfomance from Caden Albright

All-League Players Named

All-league selections are tallied based on votes from players and coaches. Congratulations to the selected players.

Players will be honored in between innings of the Majors Championship game (weather permitting) on Saturday, June 29 at 3 pm. Players should wear their team jersey and hat. View the rosters

Concession Stand Volunteers Needed 

As you may know, the concession stand at Testa Park is a main fundraiser for Crown City Little League each year and helps to keep low registration fees, buy new equipment, provide clinics and much more.

The concession stand management team is seeking adult volunteers to fill up our concession shifts and help to make this season a success. Unfortuntely, if we do not have enough volunteers for each game day, it will not be able to open.

Volunteer Applications Due 

New in 2019 – Online Volunteer Applications

In order to more securely collect personal information required to become a Little League volunteer and to speed up the approval process, volunteer applications will now solely be processed online.

If you wish to volunteer for CCLL in 2019, you must email Safety Officer Steve Morgan stating that you wish to volunteer and whether you are a returning or new volunteer. You will then receive an email back with a personal link to complete an online background questionnaire. This questionnaire will take approximately 10 minutes. Please note that your social security number is required in order to complete your volunteer application. All information is collected securely and will remain confidential.

Crown CityLittle League has developed coach, player and parent codes of conduct to insure that everyone involved has a positive experience. All forms should be read, signed and submitted to your team’s head coach.
